The Board

State of the Heart Hospice is a non-profit agency which is community based. The agency has board members who participate in strategic planning and overseeing of the operations. The board members represent a variety of occupations and professions and come from the agency’s entire service area. Often, board members will represent the agency at various community functions. Members of the State of the Heart board are leaders within their community, with strong family and community ties. In some instances a board member has had a personal experience which further affirms their commitment to State of the Heart Hospice. They are invested in the community and share a common concern to provide the very best hospice care possible to those who live in western Ohio and eastern Indian.

Board meetings are held every other month at the agency’s offices and alternate between communities served.
