The Board

State of the Heart Hospice is a community-based nonprofit agency governed by a board of trustees. Members of our Board participate in strategic planning and overseeing our agency’s operations. The Board members represent a variety of occupations and professions and come from all over our service area. Often, Board members will represent State of the Heart at various community functions. Members of the State of the Heart Board are leaders within their communities, with strong family and community ties. In some instances a Board member has had a personal experience which further affirms their commitment to State of the Heart Hospice. They are invested in the community and share a common concern to provide the very best hospice care possible to those who live in western Ohio and eastern Indiana.

Board members meet every other month at the agency’s offices on a rotating schedule.
