Faith Community Outreach
Faith Community Outreach is an educational partnership to support local faith communities in the following areas:
- Grief and Loss
- Chronic, critical and terminal health conditions
- Caregivers’ education and respite
- Compassionate care for the dying
- Advanced Health Care Directives (Living Will, Health Care Power of Attorney, etc). For more information about advanced directives, visit: http://www.caringinfo.org/stateaddownload
Faith Communities will benefit from:
- Free literature on topics of choice from list above
- Free training for faith leaders and lay leaders
- Speakers’ Bureau for church groups and classes
- Urgent problem-solving by hospice team
- A church volunteer or two trained to be local contacts for our hospice agency
